JIMENA’s Film and New Media Internship
JIMENA’s Film and New Media internship provide high school and college students the opportunity to gain experiences working on an international Oral History and web-based cultural preservation project. Each intern will create their own unique project utilizing JIMENA’s 350 hours of film footage or work on a web-based JIMENA project. Opportunities include: film editing, video-transcription, wordpress web development & building projects, graphic design, digitizing & archiving, online curation, script writing, and filmmaking. Interns will work with JIMENA staff and volunteers in developing a project plan and will be responsible for carrying out the project independently.
· Commitment to education and advocacy on behalf of Jewish refugees and religious minorities from Arab countries and Iran.
· Thoughtful, creative, and interested in new media.
· Tech-savvy with some experience
· Self-motivated and able to work independently from personal computer.
